Hope 2 Do Jewellery A very popular activity we run on a weekly basis at the Drop-In is jewellery making. Shaftesbury Carers works closely with a group of clients through every stage, from deciding what they would like to make until they are pleased with the piece. The course specialises in using silver and semi-precious stones and our highly skilled tutor is highly skilled in teaching the processes needed to craft the silver into beautiful pieces of jewellery including rings, pendants, broaches and bracelets. The success of the course has resulted in requests for specific pieces to be made after public displays of the group's work, and the group has recently designed a pendant to be sold to help raise funds to help the project continue - there are a few already made and available to purchase now.
